More About Armstrong Ecosystems

Hi, I'm Chris, a passionate advocate for sustainable living with a diverse background in permaculture design, urban planning, GIS, natural building, landscape design, and edible landscaping. My journey began with a deep interest in creating resilient, eco-friendly spaces that harmoniously blend with their surroundings. This led me to pursue an education in permaculture design and urban planning, where I developed a solid foundation in ecological principles and land use management.

Over the years, I've honed my skills in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), which has allowed me to create detailed and accurate site analyses and design plans. I'm also an experienced natural builder, with hands-on expertise in constructing eco-friendly structures using locally sourced and sustainable materials.

My passion for edible landscaping has led me to explore various techniques for integrating productive plants into urban and suburban settings. By focusing on both aesthetics and functionality, I create landscapes that are not only beautiful but also abundant in food and other resources.

As a dedicated homesteader, I have first-hand experience in raising chickens and practicing worm composting. These practices have enriched my understanding of the symbiotic relationships that exist within ecosystems, allowing me to develop more effective and sustainable designs for my clients.

Through Armstrong Ecosystems, I'm committed to helping others achieve their dreams of a more sustainable and self-sufficient lifestyle. Whether it's designing a permaculture oasis, building a natural structure, or creating a thriving edible landscape, I'm here to guide you on your journey towards a greener and more resilient future.
